Where are we going?
I guess.
We were sweating and suffering at home because it's hot,
and then we realized, let's go
climb and let's do some easy treads.
My armpits are dripping with sweat.
How are we going to solve that?
Not move
and try climbing the shade.
So we're here at the Wall of Fools and we did a nice,
very easy route, but so tricky.
Another very nice easy route all the way on the other side.
Easy but hard and the gear placement was hard
so it's good practice and good to remember
or learn how to do those.
And then...
Where are you?
Oh, I think I found the coolest place in the Grappians.
It's bolted but there's an arch
and you go behind the arch in a chimney, really thin chimney
like you cannot move in it and you just pop up in the sky up there.
Oh hey!
Wee!
Full short day.
What do we do tomorrow?
Here we go tomorrow.
Charlotte,
what are we doing today?
Climbing that Eureka
Heading
to
Eureka
wall.
Yeah, the adventure of trying new roads
that don't get used much.
Roads turned into dirt and then turned into fields of bushes.
It's back
to the railroad.
An Australian railroad.
And we made it.
Made it with a couple scratches.
scratches,
car is still alright for now.
We're gonna do some
nice vertical climbing.
There's two guys that were rappelling down
from the anchor up there so we asked them to
place our top rope
because we weren't sure if we had the right gear and enough
gear for Archimedes principle
so I want to first go top rope put the gear in I
I flashed Archimedes' principle,
top rope, while placing the gears.
What do you think about that?
Does that mean anything?
I mean, you were on the rope for an hour and 15 minutes.
Just set up the timer for Charlotte so she can climb.
And then I led it, and it was perfect and beautiful
and just in time because the storm was rolling behind.
I'm back up in my little filming
nest, and Charlotte just sent
a nice, beautiful 7B.
Three quarters of the way up,
storm rolling in, clicked it into high gear.
To the chains, wind, rain coming, dragons.
And then while the top rope was up there,
I went to have a little fun in the Pythagoras
theorem, which is a big stem from the rock to the wall,
and then it's stem in a dieter,
and then it's a beautiful,
awesome to climb a red.
Nice dieter,
nice rain behind me, on me.
rains here. So it was cool.
I got scared and it was cool. Yes, I got scared in the
top rope and the lap.
Charlotte, should we tell everyone the bad news? I guess, yes.
Should.
We're leaving the Grampians early.
We're leaving. It's way too hot. We
definitely enjoy checking out everything
but it's kind of limited in terms of
training hard and we like training hard
so and our next stop will be New Zealand
New Zealand not the Zealand the New Zealand
and not old Zealand where's old
even there's New England
and there's England there's New York New Zealand
something like that that's the plan might change
