Respite is not coming for displaced Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.
After more than three years of Israel waging a brutal war against them,
the civilian population is facing increasing food insecurity.
The reason? Aid cuts for humanitarian programs due
to funding shortages.
The aid is already little, so imagine cutting it further.
This creates a lot of fear among people
because we're in a tough situation in the Gaza Strip,
as we are besieged from all directions.
We call for more aid, not less assistance.
For many Palestinians,
displacement has already been a traumatising experience.
But the lack of food is making them more desperate than ever.
What can people do? Tell us, world, what do you want from Gaza?
Three years on and we've been dying.
Three years on and we've been suffering.
Three years on and we've been living in a back
and forth of aid being given and then scaled back.
The crossings are now closed,
there are no more vegetables and other things have come to a halt.
Where can people get supplies?
You tell us, where do we get supplies?
We are humans, not animals.
Whether the funding shortage
and humanitarian aid will be resolved remains, however, uncertain.
