Giant Glide bait treble hook stuck in my leg

Alright guys, this right here is the Rapala Straight Up Glidebait and you can see it's missing a hook and it's got some pretty stout hooks on it. This exact hook was here. The reason it's off of here is because I stuck this hook in my leg. So I'm going to show you all the video of me sticking it in my leg and then I'm going to tell you and then I'm going to show you the video of me getting it out and I'm going to tell you the whole story about that night because it was an epic fail in preposterous proportions the entire night was terrible but without further ado check out me snatching a glide out of my leg trigger warning yeah a little bit of Oh, yeah, listen, I was laughing around home what the hell just happened. Oh my gosh That was the weirdest one I ever had because it was in like a muscle as soon as it went in it tensed my foot up where i couldn't walk i've had them on me before it tensed me up where i could not walk do a video on this so my wife just came back from the ranch she threw the coal tag in the water drove me up on the dag gum why would you do that kyle obviously i was in a state of panic i know you were i'm not gonna make that video i'm joking that's so wrong are you filming me yeah you're filming right now yeah you drove us up on the bunk kyle you don't even understand how bad my heart's hurting like you know how many times i've seen you pull the boat up to the dock he was like this just far enough way you can't you couldn't jump you was six feet away just con for like 37 minutes i'm like hunter get us to the dock you backed the truck in the water i look back and you're going eat like peter griffin i said she ain't never struggled god i've never had that many things go wrong i turned around i was like i'm a family guy right i turn around the truck is going back and forth right not even touching the water i'm like how what are we doing that's how i know we live in a simulation what is going on first of all i've never not got it on the bunks the first try you've never hunter there was not a truck in the parking lot i know you've never struggled to back it in i heard it going from forward to reverse forward to reverse i'm like please god somebody lift this boat and get it on that trailer i couldn't walk guess we did though i did do it you got it all done and i got us home and back to you took us about 30 minutes to get two miles gosh now so honestly it had my it was through some weird muscle it had my leg tensed up weirdly but it's out now golly are we really filming yeah we gotta keep some kamikatsu pliers in the boat because i couldn't get the damn hook off the bait link what do you think about that the hook in my leg you didn't know all right so me hunter my wife and link my two-year-old son decided to fish a tournament this year in the summer started off the tournament tournament went about as poorly as it could possibly go first thing that happened was hunter lost a really big one you didn't break it off did you hunter lost a really big one then i lost a nice one then i caught a keeper and then link lost a big one like a two and a half pounder so after all that we got like 30 minutes left in the tournament i think we had 25 minutes left in the tournament whenever this happened but i throw this bait up there to the bank and i don't know something bumped it and i just like lifted my rod up and i don't know what happened but i saw this bait flying through the air and i thought it was just going to land in the water and then somehow it got the runner's high and caught its second wind because it looked like it was gonna hit the water then it flew another 10 feet and landed right in my shin and i don't know what happened but i don't know if there's a tendon there or what but it like locked my entire leg up i couldn't move my ankle i've never i've had hooks in me a lot i've had them in my hand i've snatched them out of my hand and kept fishing tournaments but that one went in my shin it's in a very sensitive area for some reason it like locked my ankle up but there was a lot of stuff that happened after that that makes the story hilarious link you remember this being in my leg you remember you losing that big fish it's also gonna make me look really bad but we'll start off with a disclaimer you remember you remember losing that fish he was really mean yeah you remember that day that was bad wasn't it yeah and mama lost a big one and then dada got hooked with that big log terrible day wasn't it and i caught something but i got your catfish you caught a big catfish yeah caught a big catfish i mean it was just it was one of those days it was not it was not a good tournament day not a good derby day but listen let's preface this by saying hunter has backed me in the water during elite series tournaments i don't know how many times now hundreds for sure fish tournaments by herself took the boat out by herself and she's good at backing the boat in loading the boat all this stuff well i get the glide bait stuck in my shin and this is a crazy story i get it stuck in my shin i can't hardly move i have to like slide across the boat i've had hooks but i've never had one do this to my leg well i don't have any pliers in the boat i have the nicest set of split ring pliers toy split ring pliers i don't have any in the boat all i have is what i have i had these big thick wide pliers that i couldn't get into this split ring so we call the guys who run the tournament and they come over there and all they've got is a big giant set of pliers they don't have anything i can get in that split ring so i tell hunter i said just we don't live far from the lake let's just go home and i'll snatch it out at home because i got the tools at home to get the hook off got braid everything at home so i just sit on the cooler of the boat got it in the leg yeah hi guys so i'm sitting on the cooler of the boat hunter's driving us to the boat ramp right it's dark at this point hunter is pulling up i'm like just get us there hunter's going like 12 miles an hour i'm like go faster get us to the boat ramp so we get to the boat ramp she pulls up beside the dock and she's a solid seven feet away from the dock i mean just like just a little too far to jump a little too far to move back and forth so i'm sitting on the cooler i'm not going to get the truck she's just pulling the boat forward and reversing it and i don't know how we're stuck in a dang eddy or something the boat will not get any closer to the dock she's just forward and backwards forward and backwards forward and backwards and i the dock is right there and i just we cannot get close enough to the dock to back the boat in i mean to get her out so you can get the truck so i'm sitting there like hunter get us to the dock so she finally gets us to the dock she goes and gets the truck i'll go ahead and pump the live wells out because we did have three fish we have one nice one two little ones i hit all of a sudden i hear her and i turn around and look and she's just back in the truck forward and reverse like peter griffin on family guy i mean the the trailer never touches the water she's panicking because i got a glide bait in my leg and she thinks obviously when you get hooked it always it always feels like it's never gonna come out the hunters panicking so literally she's in front of the water I just hear it going forward reverse forward i'm like yeah so finally she backs it in everything gets in good i tell her i said i'm pumping a livewell out get them fish out, throwing them back, I'm just sitting on the cooler of the boat and mind you I got a glide bait hanging from my leg, she reaches in there, she grabs the fish, throws it, I just see a culler tag in the air flying, still on the fish, okay she grabs the other fish unhooks it throws it out, grabs another one, takes culler tag off, throws it back, I'm like forget the culler tag, she backs away from the dock and then you just see it float up out by some no-wake buoys, you just see a culler tag and I'm like there's the culler tag, so we go over there and the culler tag is floating like right here and the boat's doing this around the culler tag and the fish just like gave up at this point and then finally she goes out makes a big circle and comes back and got the culler tag, but we went around it in a circle forever and then I couldn't get close enough to grab it, she couldn't get close enough to grab it because the way a boat spins so finally she gets the fish off the culler tag throws it back in the water goes to put the boat on the trailer and obviously I'm sitting on the cooler so I'm kind of in the way but she pulls it up on the left side of the trailer, gets stuck puts it in reverse, can't hardly get it off then she pulls it up on the left side of the trailer again, gets stuck, can't hardly get it off, pulls it up on the right side of the trailer gets stuck finally gets it off and then pulls it right up, straps it down and then I sat right there on the cooler of the boat while we drove all the way home i wasn't in any pain but for whatever reason my ankle just wouldn't work after i had that that hook in my shin right there i don't know if i hit a tendon i don't really know exactly what's down there but i hit something that's pretty important so all that happened while i had a glide bait stuck in my leg and i give Hunter her props she's really good at all those things our roommate works well under pressure no that is not going to be on the resume but hunter was panicking i understand the way she felt but uh it'd be nice to get the boat out about 20 minutes sooner so anyways we get home as soon as we get home i have the uh hook out in probably three or four minutes but i sit on the cooler of the boat and drove home and if a cop would have pulled me over and gave me gave me some crap for sitting on the cooler boat he would have had to pick me up and carry me to the truck to get me to get in it so it was all good everything ended well got it out it was a little bit sore the next day not bad at all but that was a crazy daggum 45 minutes i'll say maybe 30 minutes it was it was kind of insane but anyways just want to give you a brief rundown of what exactly happened because yeah it was Link's first tournament he got also the main thing i was vlogging the tournament and it deleted that's Yeah, it deleted everything hunter had links links almost fish catch on camera and then deleted so anyways, Rapala straight phenomenal bait don't catch yourself with it only catch bass with it and Don't get hooked around your wife because she might not be able to get the boat out But anyways tell them bye
