The Shepherd Who Has Lived Isolated in the Mountains for 80 Years

In an ancient alpine pasture whose year of construction is unknown, Giovanni leads the life that man has led for centuries in the mountains. Following the grazing animals, goats, sheep, cows, free among the mountains. A pile of stones is all Giovanni needs to sleep sheltered from the elements; after a life spent practicing transhumance, even a roof where dormice enter is a luxury. His needs are very few: he washes with spring water, uses a gas cylinder for meals, has no utilities or bills. Not even a bathroom, always in nature.
