Matching Cuts Card Trick

Hello again everybody. Okay, here is Football Maestro's third place winning entry into contest number nine. He just did a tutorial, so I'm going to show you the trick. What we're going to do is we're going to mix the cards in front of a spectator. The card that was upside down, a bunch of them. Do that again. Shuffle the cards, and then we're going to tell the spectator we're going to make some predictions. We'll take the deck, and we'll look at the first, the second, and the bottom card. We want a black three, a black two, and a red king. So we're going to look for the other black 3, the other black 2, and the red king. There's the black 3, the red king, and now we're looking for the black 2. There's the black 2. That's the way we want to position them. Black 3, black 2, red king. So our predictions are going to be black 3, black 2, red king. Now we give the deck to the spectator. We say, go reach down about a third of the way and flip over the cards and put them on top of the deck. So they do that. Then we say, okay, now reach down two-thirds of the way and cut the deck and move it to the side. They do that. Do not flip it over. Then we just put this right on top, and we say, okay, you cut the deck wherever you wanted, flipped it over, you cut the deck again. Now we take the deck and flip it upside down. We say, okay, we made three predictions, and there are face up cards there are face down cards and there are face up cards let's see how our predictions went we go like this and go right through the faces up cards set them down right over here flip them over and cap it with the next card which is a face down card then we take all the face down cards set them down right over here and we take the face up cards and put them right here so we say okay let's see every card has a soulmate so the red king let's see our prediction was the other red king you stopped at a black two and our prediction was the other black two and over here you cut at the black three and i knew it because my other prediction was the black three and that's it it's a pretty simple trick just follow the same exact steps and it works every time he did it slightly differently where he used the bottom card as the middle card but the way it's set up if you go down down up and make the face up card as the last card then you just can remember the first second and bottom card will be one two and three and do it three in a row so it's a pretty cool trick it works every time self-working no skill that's it see you next time
