(374) First Dutch Pour of 2020! Acrylic Painting Technique

Happy New Year! I hope everyone has enjoyed all of their holiday time! I am starting this new year getting over the flu but I hope you enjoy this simple Dutch Pour. My first one for the new year!

I am using white, pewter and two shades of peach/coral. I really enjoy using these colors together. For my white that I am blowing over the paint, I am sticking with the Sheleeart cell activator since it works so well to create cells. I found that my hair dryer seems to be dying as it didn't want to push the paint around on low, so I had to put it on high to move the paint this time.

My second book on paint pouring is going to be published on March 3, 2020 and is currently available for pre-order: "The Art of Paint Pouring: Swipe, Swirl and Spin." By Amanda VanEver

Cell activator recipe that seems to be working well for me:

Jo Sonja's titanium white with about 3 parts floetrol to 1 part paint and then a few drops of wood conditioner. I also add just a touch of water, maybe 1 or 2 teaspoons to make sure it is thin enough for the hair dryer.
