(377) Swipe Success with Sheleeart Recipe! Acrylic Pouring Technique

In this painting, I am using the Sheleeart recipe for another swipe. This time I got the cells that I was going for. I used Floetrol and the wood conditioner in each color and then thinned the gold and black down slightly. The thinner mixture worked much better this time to create the cells! For some reason, swiping the red over the other colors worked really well. I used paper this time instead of the saran wrap as it seemed to be very heavy and I had less control over the swipe. This technique worked very well for the outcome I was looking for!

My second book on paint pouring is going to be published on March 3, 2020 and is currently available for pre-order: "The Art of Paint Pouring: Swipe, Swirl and Spin." By Amanda VanEver
