Predicting the Final Score of the 49ers' Week 6 Game vs. the Commanders
Oct 20, 2026
I'm on the field. I'm at Levi's Stadium.
The game's about to start and it's time to make my official prediction.
All right, Mike Evans is going to play.
That's really good news for the 49ers. That's the good news.
The not so good news is that on Monday night,
Brock Purdy is 3-3 in his career with 12 touchdown passes and 11
to make that 12 interceptions. So is he going to play well tonight?
I don't know. I'm thinking a lower scoring game for the offense.
Fortunately, they're going against a pretty bad offense in Washington
and they have a really good defense.
The Niners defense isn't dominating.
It's not going to force a lot of three and outs. It's
kind of a bend but don't break defense,
which means Washington should win the time of possession.
You know they're going to run the ball a lot,
especially with Dre Greenlaw out. Fortunately
for the 49ers, Washington's starting running back is out,
Bill Kroski-Merritt. So they're
going to have the right idea. They're probably going
to have the ball for 35-40 minutes. I just
don't think they're going to score a lot of points.
I got the Niners winning 23-13, and I think Mike
Evans is going to have a surprisingly good game.
I don't really know what's going on with his
Achilles, but I'm thinking he's going to have like seven
or eight catches and a touchdown or two.
How about you?
