What matters to these UWindsor students this election?

Throughout this entire election campaign we've been asking people all throughout Windsor what matters to them. Today we're at the University of Windsor campus to chat with students. I just see stuff on TikTok. I'm not really involved like I just see what I see online. I see stuff about the mayor, I see stuff about the homeless population and that's about it. I like to do my own research like I believe if you're not if you're just taking stuff at face value you're not really contributing anything. I look at my local candidates and kind of see okay what has the incumbent done so far and what is the new candidate proposing that might already be in progress or isn't in progress. This election I'm particularly looking for probably housing costs and more like community involvement. They could do a lot more for community whether it's partaking in actual events here in Windsor like for example like the marathon that just happened this past weekend. Your perfect mayor, what kind of personality traits do you wish they had? Someone that's definitely energetic and just advocating for the community. A leader should know about the difficulties a normal person faces. There's a lot of problems with addiction so far, is what I saw. So focus on like shelter as well and opportunities for the ones who doesn't have a voice I think should be like a priority. Everyone struggles with housing right now and like it's something that should be like more average prices for everyone so everyone can afford like a proper place. I think that's a right of every human being.
