This week, we're having a little fun imagining what we'd do if we were president of DFW real estate. We're joined by our friend, custom home builder and licensed architect Adam Panter, to talk about what Dallas-Fort Worth is getting right, what needs improvement, and where we think the Metroplex should grow next.
We're talking about everything from toll roads and traffic to the overlooked areas east of Lake Lavon, the future of McKinney's airport, and what it would take to make homeownership more affordable in North Texas.
But we also get practical! If you love your neighborhood in Richardson, Plano, or anywhere in DFW but your house just isn't working for you anymore, should you move, remodel, or rebuild? Adam shares what it actually costs to add square footage, build a second story, or take on a major home renovation, plus how long you should expect the process to take.
