After hundreds of kilometres on the Dempster Highway, we woke up with just 98 kilometres of road left between us and the Arctic Ocean.

The Land Rover was covered in mud, frost covered the ground around camp, and Tuktoyaktuk was finally within reach.

In this episode, Daniel and I make the final push north to Tuktoyaktuk and drive all the way to the edge of the Arctic Ocean. After weeks of travelling toward this point, standing at the end of the road was a pretty incredible feeling—but strangely, it also had us thinking about all the places we still want to go.

From there, we turn the Landy south and begin retracing our route down the Dempster Highway, crossing the Mackenzie and Peel Rivers, camping near Eagle Plains under an incredible display of northern lights, and eventually making our way back through the snow-covered Tombstone Mountains.

Those mountains had felt like the gateway into this adventure when we first passed through them. Coming back through them after reaching the Arctic Ocean felt like we were finally leaving one incredible part of the world behind.

But definitely not the end of the adventure.

A huge thank you to everyone supporting Adventure Guys on Patreon. Your support helps keep the Landy moving and makes these trips and films possible. I genuinely appreciate every one of you.

Thanks for watching and coming along for the journey.
