Charlie Sheen is such a Relentless Charm

I will tell you that he is a sweetheart. He absolutely is. You know why? He always stepped in ----. I mean, if Charlie walked onto the front lawn of your house and your dog pooped somewhere, he would find it. He would step in it for sure. Yeah, a sweet man who always ends up in the wrong place. But he always owns it, you know? Charlie screwed up all the time, but he always be like, yeah, yeah. It was me. I did it. Charlie was down in Miami. We were doing the show, and he barely made it on time. we were doing two segments with him and before it began I said to the cocktail waitress who was working the pool I said do me a favor when Charlie we're doing the interview just what I shouldn't have done this but I said just walk into the middle of the shot while we're going whenever you want don't we're just burst in and give him a little wink and a little squeeze on the cheek and say hi Charlie and then walk away as if like you know him and so we're in the middle of the interview we're doing this interview with charlie and and uh and you know katie couric is there she's coming up after charlie she's the guest after and the cocktail waitress walks in she goes hi charlie we're in the middle of talking and she gives him a little squeeze and she walks away and i go oh jeez charlie how do you you know her he goes i've never seen her in my life i go sure sure doesn't look like it anyway we're all laughing the whole thing i totally set him up with it uh and he was like i'm so sorry i'm late uh dude dude i'm so sorry i'm late and he had brought with him like a 1500 dollar bottle of wine from room service it's just oh god he's like this will make up for my lateness oh my god always stepping in it but just such a i don't know relentless charm i look forward to reading his book and and watching everything the miracle uh is that charlie's been sober for eight years we are at this point. That's incredible.
