Hello everyone, welcome to this second part of our Seven Stages of Henry VIII.
We start this video where we left off in the previous video, soon after Henry’s coronation as the King of England.
Henry’s fourth stage, or his Soldier Stage, lasted almost 25 years, from his accession in 1509 to his divorce from Catherine of Aragon and subsequent marriage to Anne Boleyn in 1533.
We will be presenting this peak stage of his life in multiple videos in this series.
To many people, Henry VIII was a mass murderer who killed between 50,000 and 70,000 people during his reign.
Many believed that a single event in 1509 shaped Henry towards his dark side.
This video will explore this far-reaching event that shaped the young King into the Henry VIII we know.
