Georgian folk dance: Samaia

Interpretation of a folk dance that originates from Georgia. Done by Song and Dance National Honored Ensemble - "Georgian Folklore", at the Cultural Center of Tbilisi State Medical University. Recorded in Vila Nova de Cerveira on 05/08/2025.
After the adoption os Chritianity in Georgia (it began to spread in the 1st century and became the state religion in the 4th century), the dance Samaia was given a Christian idea, as if it were a dance of "three virgins" - "three saints".
