(541) Embellished Acrylic Painting with Silver Leaf

Today I'm working on an embellished acrylic painting. I decided this airbrushed acrylic piece I worked on a few weeks ago needed an extra pop of metallic color!

The technique:

I am using a very fine detailed brush to paint on the adhesive glue. Once I have drawn on these 'veins' all over the painting I let it dry for about half an hour. I then proceed to add the silver leaf and brush of the excess with a soft brush.

It's a little hard to see the finished embellished look on camera but I think it was a nice final touch for the acrylic piece.
