(608) Gorgeous 4th Of July Dip Technique on a Wooden Star

Hi everyone, for this piece I decided to do a dip technique on a wooden star.

Follow along,

The color palette for this wooden piece is (obviously) red, white and blue! 😊
I used the blue and the red as a base, then I smoothed the colors with a stick and dipped my wooden star in the paint.

I did the same dip technique on small round wooden pieces too. Once it was dry, I used stencils and paint to add white stars on the main piece.

I like the way it turned out, but I will be looking for a different stencil next time! 😃
