Ossoff and Bottoms to campaign at Cobb County rally

Voters are gathering for a major Democratic rally tonight at the Cobb County Convention Center. This is a live look at the event where Senator John Ossoff and gubernatorial candidate Keisha Lance Bottoms are expected to take the stage in just under an hour to kick off Georgia's first weekend of early voting. Fox 5's Larry Sproul is at that convention center with more on the importance of the rally. Good evening, Eric. We are here at the Cobb Galleria Center in Cobb County where both John Ossoff and Keisha Lance Bottoms will have a pet rally right now in just about an hour or so. As you can see, people are already waiting in line, waiting to go inside that center for this pet rally. Now, this is a very important pet rally because it's right in the middle of early voting. So far, about 500,000 people have already cast their ballots in this midterm election race. Now, two important topics that both Bottoms and Ossoff will address is obviously the economy. everything is more expensive at the gas pump and inside the grocery stores those are some of the things that both opponents are saying and they are already talking about affordable health care for everyone so those are the two big topics that they will address here tonight according to both of their team members now of course we will be out here for the remaining of the pet rally and i'll have another live report are we talking to voters and talking to both of the both of them as well I'll have another live report coming up tonight at 11 on Fox 5. Reporting in Cobb County, I'm Larry Sproul, Fox 5 News.
