*Tom Telesco* and the Las Vegas Raiders Just DOMINATED THE NFL DRAFT

As I sit here midway through day three of the NFL draft, I cannot help but appreciate having a real general manager make the Raiders draft picks. When we signed Tom Telesco, everybody was like, I don't know, he's a little boring, the Chargers weren't that great, blah, blah, blah. It's funny, nobody wanted to talk about how bad the Chargers coaches was. It was always, well, he's pretty good at getting players, but they don't really work out together. And then we bring in Antonio Pierce to couple with Tommy T, and they said, we're going to take the best players available in positions that can help us win football games, and it starts in the trenches with the offensive and defensive lines. And we saw what Tommy T can do in free agency with the snap signing of Christian Wilkins, and then we get to the draft. And I will make individual videos about the different people that we took. I'll do one on Brock Bowers. I might couple Bowers with the corner that we just took with our Maryland tackle with the Ohio State linebacker. But for right now, this video is about Tommy T. And boy, are we drafting some ballers, man! It's been a long time coming for us to have a GM in there who is able to understand the value of valuing where you take these players, Brock Bowers, the value in which we got him at 13 was second to none. Then we go JPJ in the second round. And it's so funny. I saw people going, oh, we didn't need a tight end. And you know, we didn't need a guard either. It's good to take a guard. We didn't need a guard, but guess what? This guy born a Raiders fan, born punching people in the mouth a big time brawler that's going to go to the right or left of Andre James to solidify every single alley and valley and window that Zemir White is going to be running through and then we get our tackle in the third round and then we get the most athletic fast twitchy corner in the fourth and then we get a stuffing big 10 baller of a linebacker with the next pick who knows what we're going to do in round six and seven but for right now you have to admit Tom Telesco has not only taken the best player available when it was the appropriate time and the best value but he's filled the needs perfectly now save for Brock Bowers are any of these players going to be good we don't know but you cannot argue this when we took our corner when we took our tackle our two areas of need they were perfectly positioned for where they were drafted they were not reaches and some people are saying this fourth round corner what's his name Decam is what they're calling him is going to be unbelievable for us again born to be a raider you're seeing them build a culture of people who want to come into the building and work hard and hit people and Brock Bowers in his press conference said my favorite thing to do is get the ball in my hands and score touchdowns and boy was i fired up when we took Brock Bowers i think i'm hitting the Because I knew, I knew then and there, Tommy Telesco was going to say, everybody, it's going to be okay. If we had Tom Telesco making our picks for the last however many years, we wouldn't have draft picks like Damon Arnett and Cleveland Furl and Jonathan Abram and Alex Leatherwood. We would have bona fide pro bowlers, and we would be building towards something special, which we are starting to do now. And I prepared you for the potential of us not being able to get a quarterback, and that not being a bad thing, because Tom T and AP, just made that up right now, bars, have showed you with their actions that they are willing to roll into the season with Gardner Minshew and Aiden O'Connell battling it out. And they said, if we can't get an elite top tier quarterback and one of these guys isn't going to develop into one of those overnight or maybe never, we're going to have to make it as easy as possible for them to succeed in the National Football League. And we won eight games last year with a terrible Jimmy Garoppolo and a rookie Aiden O'Connell. And now we've added one of the best offensive weapons to ever come into a draft in the last 15 years and a guard day one starter a potential right tackle the line is ready the offense is ready if Luke Getzey has a brain which i think he does and i said that last video we are going to be rocking and rolling and it doesn't matter who's throwing the football if they could throw the football with a little bit of accuracy and a little bit of smarts these guys are going to be running wide open and now when free agency opens and these undrafted free agents get to talk to AP and Tom Telesco can show you the plan of the holes we need to fill with these undrafted players all these guys are going to want to come to the Raiders because we are building towards something absolutely special and look I would have loved to have Michael Penix Jr. I said this on my live stream go check that out it was my instant reaction to all of this it's up on the channel I woke up that day ready to celebrate Michael Penix, ready to buy his jersey, ready to call him a Raider. And when he went at eight, I threw my hands in the air and I said, you know what, there's nothing you can do. If the Falcons are going to reach like that, and I actually don't hate that pick for the Falcons, but if they're going to reach like that, there is nothing you can do. And I told you six quarterbacks could go. I even said J.J. McCarthy might go to the Falcons. I was wrong about who was going to end up going there, but I thought a quarterback could go there. Six quarterbacks went, three receivers went, a couple linemen went, and all of a sudden, Brock Bowers falls into our lap. And again, I'll make a separate video on that, but for right now, I wanted to talk about Tommy freaking Telesco, a real general manager, no offense to Gruden, Mayock, or Ziegler. Actually, that Ziegler wasn't terrible, but this is how you do it. A lot of times, you have to play the cards you're dealt, and when one of the best players to ever come out falls into your lap you just take him and then in your later rounds you go get guys who are sneaky athletic freaks of nature born to be a raider willing to work their tails off and this tackle guard corner linebacker that we've gotten so far seems to fit the raider way and Tommy team might not be done we might be pulling off some trades i don't know anything no inside information i'm just saying this is a long off season before we know what the season will be here but there are moves to be made free agents still out there and if we could build something and if we can get competent quarterback play we should make the playoffs next year especially with the draft picks we just made especially with Antonio Pierce being in the locker room motivating these guys every single day with the addition of Christian Wilkins we should be in the playoffs next year we should absolutely be in the mix what are your thoughts on how Tommy T has done so far.
