2020 Channel Update Video and Double Giveaway

Hey guys how you doing? Joe and Co here. It's been a while since you saw us. I thought it was about time for an update video. I haven't been out camping since well before Christmas. You haven't seen a video from me since well before Christmas. The only one that you did see after Christmas was that... Come here baby. Come sit with dad. Good girl. Yeah I know. She was there. Was that camping in a ghost camping, the ghost range in a snowstorm video that I made with Chris Prouse, so filmmaker Chris Prouse and I got together and we searched for a snowstorm and she filmed it and edited it very very epically I highly suggest to go check out that video if you haven't seen it, that'd be the last video on my on my channel and we have plans to get together again later on in the future, just honestly go check it out and check out her channel Chris Prouse P R O U S E on YouTube, she's got an Instagram as well under the same name, just amazing stuff, super happy she did it with me and I highly suggest checking out if you haven't... okay you're gonna go over here, good boy so as you can see we're all here, we're all healthy, we're all doing well, lots of stuff has happened since the last time you saw us we went down to Windsor after Christmas for about a week to celebrate Christmas with everyone and we ended up bringing back Will's mom with us back back up here so that she could watch the kids when we got out and did some stuff. That never ended up really happening because everyone got really sick. Will's mom ended up getting pneumonia. Will got, or sorry, Emerald got strep throat. Autumn got strep throat and croup. Croup cough. And then I was pretty sick too. You were the only one who did really good. No. You knew you needed to take care of the family. Her body fights germs a whole lot. Yeah. I didn't get too sick, but I've been hanging around the family here helping and uh it's been good it's been it's been fun spending time together it's been necessary i'm always out gone camping out never home all the time so it's it's been nice um autumn had surgery as well i've had a tear duct surgery to open up her tear duct so ever since she was a baby ever since she was born she's always had liquid run water running down her face and i would crust shut sometimes in the middle of night when we wake up we wake up and have to wash it with a warm rag okay let's leave all this stuff alone oh my goodness we got a little dancer girl around here she's in frame anyways so it had to be uncomfortable and we never knew we're up here where we don't have a real doctor we have to go to a nurse practitioner we heard everything from an eye infection to a clogged tear duct to just let it go whatever so we let it go let it go let it go finally got an appointment with a specialist he sees it for the lady and the first the first night after just it was insistent it was just an infection that lasted forever and the antibiotics didn't work two different antibiotics then the next specialist he saw her twice and said it needed surgery and then we sent us to a third specialist who did the surgery yeah so finally the third specialist saw it was like yeah right away tear duct got us in and did it, we're not 100% of whether it worked or not, it's been a couple weeks right, and then she said it'll be a couple weeks before it'll stop leaking and it hasn't, so hopefully, hopefully it stopped, if not we have to do it again but she had some downtime for that and she took it like a champ, little boss so yeah actually we're supposed to, Will's mom was supposed to fly home and because that whole coronavirus nonsense and her having pneumonia wouldn't stop like hacking and coughing like every like a minute it wouldn't, she couldn't go a minute without it, we were scared that they wouldn't let her on the plane so we decided to drive her home and we stayed there for about a week again and we just got back a couple days ago, here's the other kicker, Emerald, all the schools in Ontario, is it Canada or Ontario, Ontario have been on strike like crazy, they're alternating so when I was just gonna originally drive Will's mom home but then we realized that Emerald only had school like two days out of the next week so we said forget it, we all went to come back and find out this week here she only has school one day a week just Friday, so it's hard for me to get back into the swing of things when Will's here watching the kids, herself her mom's gone, I feel happy to be able to have the kids home, we've been doing a lot of things together me and Emmy playing our Legos Playing DS Sliding in the back Building snowmen Walking on the ice And slush And setting up tents out on the ice in the back Spinning on my floor when I drive Can you get her? Ow, don't work Anyways, so that's all that's been going on I'm fine, nothing's wrong I'm in good spirits um i'm excited to get back out and doing these things but i'm really not in a rush right now because what do we find out about next week for her school um well i've read a couple of articles we're waiting to hear back still for what our district is but our district is supposed to have one day off they're doing an ontario wide elementary one day off and an ontario wide all boards off so it's looking like she'll only have one day of school next week which is crazy so i'm not sure what's going to go on if i'll go to get out next week or if i'm going to be here with these guys who knows um i haven't stopped by any means it's just been a slow point right now i'm excited to get back into it i told you guys that i told you guys that 2020 there's gonna be some new things that you haven't seen before on my channel and one of those things already was that that collaboration with Chris Prox I'm telling you nothing like my like that has been on my channel uh before uh we do have some other cool things coming up. Old hardcore Hawley's gonna be there. Apparently he's a survivalist, which is really cool. I used to be an old wrestling fan, and he's a staple for sure. So we wanted to do a giveaway. I'm sure a lot of you have seen that. last year and to have Scout's legacy live on want to get these books out here highly illustrated yeah and I've got I can put the link for that sorry for these books in the description of this video so if you if you don't win or if you're interested in it you can purchase one of the books too so along with the books there's gonna be two books two winners along with the books I'm gonna give away a box of the epic bars I got a venison and I got a chicken if you're that's one of the two let me know and I'll make sure you get the other one the way to win is just put I'm in in the comments in this video okay we have removed autumn from the situation so we can hear just put I'm in in the comments of this video and in about a week we'll check it out you'll need to get a hold of me and I'll mention the winners in the next video but you'll need to get a hold of me when I do mention your name you'll need to be vigilant in watching the video and then emailing me you can find my email it's out there in emailing me and telling me that it was you that won and we can converse then you can give me your shipping info and all that stuff I will if you like I will sign this I can have the family sign it too because the whole family's in it if not no big deal but again you can let me know if that's something you want to do um in the very new near future I have a couple plans for four trips so last year when Scout passed I um I had my my canvas tent my snow trucker up and I left it set up in my woods because I had a couple buddies that were staying here uh after they they left a couple days later he passed and I just really I didn't have the will or desire or time or energy or anything to go out there and take it down it was silly of me I shouldn't have done it but I did and I left it out there and the snow and ice buckled it and ruined it eh and it kind of it broke two of the poles and one of the poles shot broke through the tent itself so i have since then um tripper careful buddy i have since then ordered new poles and uh checked it out and stuff so we'll have to see where the rip is and everything but i want to i want to bring that tent out to my property where the fort is or sorry yeah the fort is and i want to set it up as a permanent winter camp so what I'll do is I will I'll shovel it all make it all awesome looking and then I'll put ribs of wood like ridge poles of wood going up so that no snow is gonna buckle it anymore so it won't happen again and I'll be able to continuously go there and upgrade and do upgrades on it and build a floor I don't know if you guys have seen that dude Jay Legere Jay Legere he's a Canadian youtuber and he's got like videos like building a tent instead of a bigger tent and anyways he leaves the stuff out there and he goes back to it and it's it's pretty comfortable so I like that idea check that guy out thank you for the the idea Jay as well anyways I think that covers it you have anything you want to say mmm and what's gonna make a YouTube channel hey what's it gonna be about that's so cool I'm humbled and flattered to hear it kiddo anyways I hope you guys are still around hope you understand this is this is not me Leaving YouTube. This is not me doing anything. Just needed a little bit of a break for a couple different reasons Everything is totally fine. I'm super happy to get back into it Like I said, I don't know what will happen if there will be a video next week or not Considering this kiddo is not going to be in school.
