Margit Egg Painter Austria
I live and work as a lecturer in chronobiology in Tyrol. I raised two children and then cared for my mother until the lockdown. During the COVID-19 lockdown, I started painting for the first time since childhood. The "Singing" series of paintings was created during this time. I missed live singing during the lockdown.
Over time, I began to express my view of the world, including more hidden aspects, through hyperrealistic portraiture. The events in Ukraine will likely inspire a new series of paintings.
