This is INSANE...I've NEVER Seen This Before

The Philadelphia Eagles give multiple huge updates ahead of their Week 5 matchup at home versus the Carolina Panthers. This is insane. Didn't see Saquon, Drew Kendall, Jalex Hunt, Will Shipley, Michael Carter. Devontae Smith, not practicing, was on the field on the jugs machine, so getting in some work separately. Jonathan Grenard, Marcus Epps, Hollywood Brown, returned to practice. Landon Dickerson, Eli Stowers, Grant Calcaterra, Ja'Cory, and Bennett, all previously on IR prior to this practice today, they were participating after having their windows, the Eagles announcing, officially opened to return. The sheer scope of the official injury report, though, the Eagles later released, I mean, this is comical. I'm not going to make you count them individually, but that is a whopping 24 players a full offense a full defense some specialists worth it's it's absolutely unreal i'll go rapid fire here so you don't have to Saquon did not participate michael carter did not participate felix hunt drew kendall will shipley and davante smith did not participate jacorian bennett marquise hollywood brown grant calcaterra landon dickerson A.J. Epenesa, Marcus Epps, Jonathan Bernard, E.J. Jenkins, Tyler Steen, Eli Stowers, Devontavian Wicks, Zach Bowen, Jahad Campbell, stop at Wicks actually, limited participants. The majority of these players were limited at least, practicing, which is a good. Vaughn, Campbell, Carter, Ebiketie, Hurts, notably Jalen Hurts dealing with a calf injury, Brad Johnson, and Drew Makuba, full participants. I probably sound like gibberish there, and for that, I apologize, but the Eagles Wednesday report is something I have truly never seen before I cannot remember a sheer laundry list people talking about a receipt jokingly a receipt at Target or Walmart whatever CVS no free promo but it is just you're at a loss for words the potential losses heading into this game against the Carolina Panthers but the reality is only six of those listed of the 24 did not participate notably you got Saquon you got Davante Smith who reports about them being potentially on track to return prior to this wednesday practice we'll see how the week develops though to be sure landon dickerson though notably talking about via dave zangaro again first practice was good went well he's feeling good noted that was a bone bruise but we'll see gonna take it slow not gonna rush him there's no need to rush him but he could certainly provide a big boost for this Philadelphia Eagles team ahead of their Carolina held up relatively well as what you could reasonably expect when you think about where Jalen Hurts is going with the ball not a ton over the middle of the field notably when you think about Eagles offense going in their show man trying to integrate one Makai Lemon of course Davante Smith but Makai Lemon the increased opportunities while Davante Smith has been out for a little bit here Makai Lemon certainly beyond the line of scrimmage finally we're moving past those orbit motions terrible screens where guys can't block for him working in between the line of scrimmage past and then nine yards ten yards downfield setting himself up for some yards after the catch opportunities as far as Makai Lemon's concerned Hurts has been building the rapport when you get now hopefully Davante Smith not official practice participation but getting in some work i would think things would bode well i'm hopeful for the future his future in the near term DeVonta Smith his ability to play against the Carolina Panthers so getting a full complement of receivers having of course Dallas Goedert coming back getting more comfortable potential Landon Diggs on this Eagles offense there's there's some room for hope there's some actual room for hope and then you factor in this critical matchup versus the Carolina Panthers the Eagles head into it at just two and three not where we want to be how about Jonathan Grodnow Vic Fangio earlier this week was relatively hopeful about Grodnow's chances to play limited with the ankle would only again I think play limited snaps but even having I think is relatively critical to stopping a Bryce Young led Panthers offense that is just clicking that is quick releases that is dealing with pressure as well the Eagles the defense they're going to very well need I think another banner game from a Jalen Carter especially if this Eagles offense has another dud of a second half you look at Jalen Carter not even pictured here accounting for the multiple forced fumbles he is a man possessed right now and notably Jeff McLane talking about how Carter a little bit of a more free-flowing wrap on that wrist in terms of his ability to use his fingers it took the Eagles a little bit to figure it out but man it looks like they have struck gold here they're gonna need all the help they can get Jalen Carter even still not 100 percent still gonna be more than good enough i think against the Panthers offensive line Panthers offensive line that's relatively struggled but Bryce Young he has been able to still thrive guys what do you think ahead of this
