Here to talk truth, to help and to educate !
Video Summary
AI GeneratedMommy Sochu delivers an empowering message to survivors of narcissistic abuse, urging them to transition from victims to \"thrivers.\" She emphasizes the importance of radical self-love, setting firm boundaries, and forgiving oneself for the time spent pleasing abusers. The core message is to reclaim one's identity and prioritize personal healing to build a peaceful, successful future.
Hey, y'all. Hello,
Thrivers and Survivors.
How y'all doing?
Happy Friday.
Good evening to you.
Bear with me while I get myself situated.
I have to do a little adjustment here. Hey, guys. Happy
Friday. What's up? What's going on? Shout out to my Warriors.
Shout out to my Thrivers. Shout out
to my warriors. Shout out to my drivers.
Shout out to my champs in the house. So happy to
be here, guys. What's up? It's your girl, Mommy Sochu.
If you're new here, big, big
hello to you. Welcome to the community of Thrivers.
We're moving on with life, whether
easy or hard, post-narcissistic abuse.
And this evening, I'm here to share a message
with all of you from a very good place. I want
to share with you what I have truly embraced for
myself as a survivor, as someone carrying along with life,
minding my own little business after
going through this hell on earth experience called narcissistic abuse
and just dealing with toxic and
dark people in general,
and just learning to unlearn a lot of things that I used to know,
things that I used to do, things that I thought were normal.
And today I am stopping in to talk
to someone to share this important message to you,
hopefully to inspire you, to motivate you,
and to help you keep pushing as the driver that you
are after going through what you just survived,
because you did if you're here you're still
standing you've survived such a sick dangerous
experience and if you're going through it now you know
my heart goes out to you so it does it does
I know what you're going through I know where you're
at if you've recently been discarded or
if you're going through that you've
been going through it for a few weeks a couple weeks you
know you you were in a relationship maybe
a marriage, this could be your family, this could
be your family. And such a painful experience to go through,
no matter what age you are,
no matter what the relationship dynamic was.
It's a painful experience, but there is so
much light on the other side of being a victim
to these type of abusers. And today, I want
to tell you that you owe
yourself so much, so much.
You've given yourself
so much. You
have abandoned and neglected yourself
so much many of you are like me and you were born into
these type of situations you didn't ask for it you
were born into it it's just been part of your
life story and because of that you've
been stripped away from a lot of things you learned
the hard way how to individualize yourself you learned
the hard way what self-love looks like
what it should look like, how it should be for you.
And it does suck to have learned the hard
way because there's so many situations
that probably could have been avoided had you known
and understood self-love.
There's so many things that wouldn't have happened had you known
the letter, the word no. Had you known
the powerful word no? As simple as it sounds,
many of us, it's been difficult to really say
no. It's been something to learn. We didn't realize
the power of our no's.
We didn't know that we can say no, that it's okay to say no. We didn't
realize that we don't have to give everybody
so much of ourselves, all stemming from our own
childhood wounds and issues, our own attachment issues,
our own abandonment issues. Whether we
knew it or not, a lot of us,
whether we've accepted it or not, that's really the core
of the issue is something happened to you as a child
that made you feel like you needed to fight
to be seen, fight to be heard, fight to be loved.
And you may have not realized that, but that's
really, that's what a lot of us have been doing all of our life.
Being there for everyone, overly
exhausting ourselves to be there for everyone,
everyone, good and bad. And if you went through
a narcissistic relationship.
You have been a punching bag however long you were in that
relationship. Emotionally, you took hell.
Emotionally, every day was a battle. Every day
was a constant emotional rollercoaster ride.
You might have woke up with a whole different being
than the person that you were going to sleep at night with.
You probably didn't know what you
were going to get most days when you woke up.
You didn't know if they were going to be happy. You
didn't know if they were gonna be mad you didn't know
if they were gonna come home from work happy
one minute they love you next minute they're showing you absolute hate
and it leaves you
confused it leaves you going back
and forth in your head in your mind with decisions so many of
us we didn't know what we were dealing with and we stuck
in these relationships we rode and we died
literally ride or die ride or die we did it so many
sacrifices we made exhausted ourselves doing
things that we didn't even agree with doing things
that we weren't okay with all for the
sake of pleasing someone or trying to keep peace
with someone a lot of us tolerated a lot of mess
a lot of crap because we just don't want drama we
just don't want problems we don't want to be seen
as someone who complains someone who's not content someone
who's judgmental someone who's mean or
cold-hearted we took a lot we've taken a lot
those of you dealing with narcissistic parents oh my
god the constant ridicule and belittling you
are never good enough and and if you pay attention
you're probably doing things to try to get love from this parent
and you are never going to get
some of the most painful parts of going through
narcissistic abuse is accepting that these people
never loved you
that these people will never love you
that they cannot love you that's that to me
was the hardest part because I could have sworn it was love
and that's where I was flawed I was
like oh wait all of that was fake everything they
ever promised everything they said all the tears
they shed they exhausted me with tears they exhausted me
with sad stories stories and so I
felt bad and so I kept abandoning my emotions
and my needs to keep trying to meet them at theirs
to keep trying to please them to keep trying
to put them on a pedestal make them feel good
I burnt myself out I put myself to the side like
many of you have done and are doing a lot of us
that are here right now yeah we're we're tough
lovers we love hard we're we're we're pretty
normal so we don't you know love is not a like
a light switch we don't just turn it on and off
on and off like that's that's that's just not how
that's not our reality that's not how we roll
and we have been dealt by people
who don't move like that people
who will look you in your eyes
and say i love you you're the best thing
that's ever happened to me you are you know my rock and
then turn around and be sleeping with 500 people
that's that's that's what you went through a
relationship with a real liar. Liar.
They only pretended to seem realistic when it was going to
be to their benefit. But besides that, it was never real.
Everything they said was baloney.
It sounded so good. They mirrored things so perfectly.
They made you feel like they were
really it. You're so mean.
I know that ride of love that you
were on at some point with that
person but I also know that it
was not love and you owe yourself
owe yourself a big big sorry
you owe yourself a big big sorry
because you fell into a trap
not knowing it was that you walked
into something that seemed normal
and okay not realizing you were being set up you allowed people
to use you you owe yourself a big sorry a lot of us
we allow these people to use us because we could
not say no from the simple fact that we've
been living in fear we've been taught somewhere along
the line that our feelings does not matter
that our worth is invisible what you have to say nobody
wants to hear you're weird you're awkward you're strange
so stay in your little bubble I continue
to isolate yourself don't live don't don't don't
be a lover of life be afraid we've been taught
that. Many of you need to just forgive yourself
for the simple fact that you married somebody just
like your parents. You chose this path
in life because that's what you know.
It's what you knew.
You were bamboozled because your parents,
your guardians, your family, they've been playing
your whole life. The devil's been using people strategically
your whole life to make you look
foolish. You owe yourself a sorry for ignoring your intuition
because you felt it. All the times
you felt it was wrong. All the times you knew something wasn't right.
All the times you went
back and you knew you shouldn't have gone back.
You owe yourself a big sorry and with that you
owe yourself so much love. So much love.
Self-love has nothing to do with our outward look,
our appearance.
It has everything to do with how we approve of the being that we are.
Mentally telling yourself that you
are more than enough because you are.
Mentally deprogramming those negative thoughts,
beating yourself up, thinking that everything you do is wrong.
Taking your self-care serious, learning how to pour into.
You can't take that time back.
You can't get that time back that you've lost with these people.
It's okay.
What you can do now, though,
is use the time that you have to live your life unapologetically.
unapologetically. You owe yourself this.
You owe yourself happiness.
So many of survivors of NPD
don't know what happiness truly feels like.
You may have an idea, you may have a vision of it,
but have you ever really lived it? Some of us have.
Some of us have set ourselves free. We're
thriving. We're doing things. We're moving around.
We're traveling. We're moving on. We're entering
into new, better, stronger relationships.
You owe yourself this. You owe yourself so much
compassion and dedication to pouring everything you've poured
into them, everything you wanted
to give and give to them. Now give it to yourself.
You validated them. You knew how to compliment
them. You know how to put them on a pedestal.
Put yourself up there. Not because you're some godly,
you know egotistical prideful being no it's
because you understand the god inside of you
you understand the god who created you
so you understand that you were not born to walk in fear
you were not created to be afraid
and and you were not created to be anyone's soundboard or
punching bag you were not designed to be held captive
in a marriage with what you now know
is a narcissist. That's not anybody's destination.
You were not put on this earth to suffer in the
hands of your narcissistic family.
It is okay to set yourself free. You owe yourself this. You owe
yourself going through that painful cutoff phase.
You owe yourself that release. Cutting them off
is so powerful and you owe yourself that because they
are not going to let you go. You must be the
one to do it they are not going to let you go
you gotta let them go you got to in your head
out of your spirit because you
owe yourself this many people
have been holding on too long
many people have been trying to figure out answers
that they're never going to get for far too long
you owe yourself this time now
to take you serious what do you want
for your life have you really
thought about that maybe maybe you haven't
because if you did you won't be so worried about them
anymore you won't be so caught up
in them anymore you will now notice that the focus is on you how
do you move forward how do you get unstuck
be proactive take the initiative and pour life back
into your life pour love back
into you you owe yourself
this you owe yourself
this know that it
is okay. It is okay
that you let them in your life.
It's okay. It was an experience.
Don't beat
yourself up forever.
They took 10 years from you, 20 years from you.
It's okay. You didn't die. You
were probably supposed to, but you're still standing.
And even if you're going through pain
right now, trust and believe me, as long as you remain standing,
you're going to get stronger and
stronger and stronger and better and better.
And this has made you wiser than ever before. You
know what that sounds like to me warrior you know what
that sounds like to me thriver that sounds
like victory and that to me tells me you have something
to celebrate you owe yourself that you
owe yourself a celebration
because you made it you're still standing it did not get it did not
take you where it was supposed to it did
not destroy you like it was supposed to many of you
are on your healing journey
and as you're on it you're starting to see clearer and clearer
how much you need to feel sorry for them they
are pathetic are really the problem they've always
been the problem they are sick many
of you you're witnessing it you're trying to move on they are
still trying to hoover you
and if you don't answer the hoover they cussing you out you're like wow
nothing has changed you are still
the same wishy-washy unstable mentally jacked up toe up
from the floor as person
and I am not missing nothing this is your ultimate loss wow this is
victory you owe yourself so much give it
to yourself now you can't erase
the time you can't
take back what was done what was said
but moving forward you owe yourself nothing but good go out
have fun get out stop being afraid thinking
that everybody's a narc and you gotta be out here
just scared no don't live like that don't let
the trauma make you afraid to live a life after what
you went through. Just be smart. Be wise.
Walk in discernment. But you owe yourself a life now. A lot
of you were married to these type of people for decades
and you couldn't do nothing. You didn't
do nothing. Your time is now. I don't care how old you are.
I don't care how rough it's been. You now
have the power to cut the life support.
You now have the power to take your life back. These people
are afraid of you.
What they don't want is for you to walk in your best self.
What they most fear
is for you to grow you owe it to yourself
to grow you owe it to yourself to pour into your
into yourself so you can keep growing
and never stop you owe it to yourself to wake up every day
and find a way to empower yourself to keep going you owe it
to yourself to take setting boundaries
serious moving forward in life learning that saying
no doesn't make you cold-hearted doesn't
make you one of them
and that you don't have to break your back bend over and be there for
everybody self-love compassion self-care oh
my god you owe this to yourself survivor
as the days go
on as the weeks go on as the months go on continue
to pour into you continue to do for you continue
to love on you and take every bit of that serious every moment
of that serious anyone that comes
around try to tap in that does not align
with your vision with your energy don't tolerate it
The moment they show you that they are not for you, walk away from it.
Let it go.
You owe it to yourself to let go of the past
and focus on the future.
That future that you know exists for you.
It's still there.
It's waiting.
There's a handsome man waiting there.
There's a beautiful woman.
There's a thriving business waiting for you.
There's a career waiting for you.
Financial blessings are waiting for you.
You owe it to yourself to allow those doors to open,
especially if you are someone
who have suffered a major loss dealing with some type of toxic
narcissistic clown that you take the time to love
on yourself and take it serious and understand
the power of self-love because you owe yourself
this this is how we heal this is the only way
forward forget about yourself turn
your back now you owe yourself
don't feel bad and if you do know
that it's okay to be sad if you've made the right decision.
It's very okay. It's new. Change can be
scary, but it's necessary.
If you're going through this, change is necessary.
If you care about your
life, change is necessary. Don't stop trying.
Don't stop loving. Don't stop living either.
I want you all to be happy. I want you all to move
on with your life in a blissful way. I want
you to affirm nothing but positivity
and greatness over your life and speak life into your life.
Because you owe yourself this.
They've taken way too much from you.
Take it back.
Take it back.
And continue to walk in the light.
Shout out to you, warrior.
You fought one hell of a fight.
And for a lot of you, it's time to rest.
It's time to relax.
You've been fighting your whole life.
Time to live in a world of peace.
You owe yourself that.
You really do.
You really do.
I pray
that you release.
I pray that you learn to let go.
I pray that you learn to become unbothered and live.
Because you owe yourself.
i pray that the pain releases i pray
that every time you think of them
or you're reminded of them
you don't feel the same i pray
that you stop beating yourself up for how ugly things have
because you're still beautiful you
owe yourself all of that positivity
stay strong do not give up
know that you survived something you weren't supposed
to and victory is ours they couldn't
destroy us y'all i don't think some people understand how serious it
is to have gone
through this your whole your whole life these this
type of abuse affects every decision you've ever
made in your life and it's intended
to keep you stagnated it's intended to block you it's intended
to destroy your blessings but when you learn the power
of freedom the power of letting go the power
of forgiving you start to pour into yourself
in ways that change the whole game it affects your
glow so heavily they don't see it coming they
never saw they never saw the beast in you the way
that they're seeing it now a lot of you you owe it
to yourself to walk proudly proudly as the being
that you are now after the abuse because you're
not the same person you were before and um i pray
that we all stay strong and we all
take self-love serious we really
really start pouring into
ourselves. I see too many people beating themselves up about
an experience they went through with
abusers. Abusers and beating themselves up.
I'm gonna let go for so many. I pray that this helps
someone. I appreciate you taking your time
