🎬 ABOUT MAN IN THE DARK 🎬
Promised parole from prison, inmate Steve Rawley (Edmond O'Brien) agrees to undergo an experimental brain surgery to eliminate his criminal tendencies. Waking to find that the procedure has erased his memory, too, Rawley is sent to an asylum to recover, where he's accosted by a trio of his ex-gang members demanding to be told the location of the $130,000 in cash he hid before being jailed. When Rawley can't remember, even their vicious beatings cannot jog his memory. But when the location of the cache comes to him in a dream, Steve and his girlfriend, Peg (Audrey Totter), head for an amusement park ahead of the crooks, determined to find and return the money to its rightful owner.
