YouTuber and boxer Jake Paul has criticised left-wing protesters, questioning whether they have jobs and saying they spend their time carrying signs while others are working.

“I get confused by the left, the protesters. Do they not have jobs?” Paul said. “That's all they do, just carry signs around while we're doing the work.”

His remarks have put the spotlight on the debate surrounding protests, political activism and the role of demonstrators in public life.
