Equal Justice Means Members of Congress Get Same Scrutiny as Americans, Omar Investigation

Democratic strategist and former South Carolina City Councilwoman Aditi Bussells and Republican strategist Ford O’Connell joined NTD's Steve Lance for a panel discussion.

They discussed the differences between how many Democrats are responding to the federal search of Rep. Ilhan Omar's home versus the FBI search of President Donald Trump's home in Mar-A-Lago, and the precedent that was set with the raid of the president's home.

The also discussed the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) calls for New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani to fire Police Commissioner Jessica Tisch, and its implications for the DSA.

The panel also discussed Trump's restoration of celebrating Columbus Day, how removing statues risks erasing American history, hurts education, and mirrors how communist regimes have long rewritten history to control their people.
