What is the Father Fish Aquarium?

Father Fish has built an old time fish store. It has echoes of aquariums from many years ago. In this video Father Fish tells wonderful stories about some of the Masters who came before us. Merle Cohen was a favorite friend and a life long influence in Father Fish's life. Henry Hall and Richard Hahn were 2 more men whose influence runs deep. 70 years of fish keeping offers a wonderful bounty of stories and memories for us to share.

Hello there from the otherside of the world.
I found your channel mentioned in another youtubers comment section last night and I have to say that your channel is unique and different from all the other aquarium channels on youtube in two distinct ways.
1. I cant think of another channel which is able to give viewers a first hand account about the hobby going back as far as 60 years ago.
That in itself makes your channels content one of a kind.
2. Most channels tend to have similiar content and the topics that are discussed tends to be repetitive, repeating the same technical or do and do not points over and over again.
There will be videos of
Filter and LED reviews.
Whats best in a 10, 20 or 55 gallon.
Which species goes well together.
And ofcause the mandatory " Oh my god all me fish are dead " videos.
Not yours.
4 odd years of watching and reading stuff online and I was still not clear on how essential nutrients are absorbed from the water coloumn down into ths substrate.
Thats until I watched your video touching on substrate depth and the different lifeforms colonising different strata of the substrate.
My only disappointment is that you had not started this channel a few years back.
I would shamelessly be selfish here by asking you to sacrifice your time and effort to push out as many videos as possible.
60 years of experience in this hobby should be fully documented and shared as the wisdom, perspective and knowledge you bring to the hobby is invaluable.
Thank you.
