How to Set Up a Dirted Tank - step #2 - planting the dirted aquarium

Today we are starting to plant our new dirted tank. Yesterday we placed about one inch of mixed soil in a bare 10 gallon aquarium and covered it with about two inches of sand. This is the foundation of a forever aquarium that will need only minimum maintenance and will grow healthy plants and provide many years of enjoyment. The tank will remain clear and the fish will be healthy. Father Fish guarantees it.
