What Scientists Found at Australia's Gosford Glyphs Has Shocked the Entire World

In a narrow sandstone gorge sixty kilometres north of Sydney, approximately 300 Egyptian-style hieroglyphs cover two facing rock walls. They include an image of Anubis, and a cartouche containing the name of Pharaoh Khufu, the man who built the Great Pyramid. A translation claims they describe an Egyptian prince who died from a snake bite in Australia four and a half thousand years ago. The official position is that every one of them is a twentieth century hoax. No peer-reviewed excavation has ever been conducted at the site. The person credited with translating them shares a name with a famous American Egyptologist who has publicly denied any involvement. And the Darkinjung Elder whose country this land has always been has stated that some of the glyphs are Egyptian, and that others were made by her own people in an older tradition. The question of what is actually carved into that sandstone, and when, has never been formally settled.
