What's that saying about the tangled webs we weave?
What tangled webs we weave?
Well, Kimberly Guilfoyle, who is currently the U.S. ambassador
to Greece, well, she is absolutely
in a very tangled web.
That has to do with a $100,000 Amex bill that she ran up.
And she attempted to pay it off, although not with her own money.
And that is where this gets really tricky.
So there is a gentleman who, according to The Wall Street
Journal, had business with the federal government,
and that involved the Trump administration.
And so what The Wall Street Journal is essentially saying
is that Kimberly contacted this person and said,
I will be ride or die for you and help you
with whatever tax issues or legal issues
you have with the Trump administration,
but pay off my Amex bill, because I'm
being considered right now before the Senate
for the ambassador to Greece.
And if they find out about this, they may not confirm me.
And there's a way you can do this
where nobody's going to know.
Well, that person she was trying to get the money from
is named Eric Dieters.
Eric Dieters was a congressional candidate in Kentucky
and obviously had some connection with Kimberly.
And he is joining us now to talk about the request
she made, according to The Wall Street Journal.
Eric, welcome to TMZ Live.
Happy to be here.
Thanks for having me on.
We appreciate it.
So look, the story goes, Kimberly contacted you and said,
pay off my Amex bill.
I will do whatever I can to help you
with the Trump administration.
Had a prayer emoji at the end of this saying
that nobody's going to find out.
True or false?
It is true.
What happened, and I'll do this really quick.
After the last Freedom Fest in 2024, I approached Kimberly
and I said, hey, Kimberly.
And by the way, I'm not a politician.
I'm a legal consultant, victims advocate.
I finance litigation.
And the Dr. Durrani victims are people
that I really, 580 victims of unnecessary spine surgery,
I was trying to help.
So I told Kimberly, I said, you help
me expose this case and this issue.
When it settles, I'll give you $1 million.
So she claimed she was going to do all these things,
get me on Tucker and all this stuff.
She did nothing.
So right up before a confirmation hearing,
she goes, hey, I need $100,000 to pay off
this American Express card.
And I will be your ride and die forever.
And I said, wait a minute, Kimberly.
You've not done anything that you promised me.
You haven't got me on Tucker.
You haven't got me on a Fox interview.
You haven't done squat.
You didn't get Kid Rock, the song
that I wrote that was called the Kentucky Outlaw.
I had him in mind.
I do a lot of different things.
So you haven't done anything for me.
And I paid her up to that point $300,000, $200,000
to Junior, $100,000 to Eric Trump, $200,000
to President Trump.
I mean, I'm up to $1 million.
And I'm like, I ain't got nothing to show for it, OK?
Can we back this up?
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Hold on.
Can we back this up?
You gave President Trump money.
You gave Eric Trump money.
Explain.
All right, I paid Kimberly Guilfoyle $300,000, $100,000
each to come to Patriot State Freedom Fest.
I paid Eric Trump $100,000 to come to Patriot State Freedom
Fest.
I paid Don Junior to come to Patriot State Freedom
Fest, $100,000 twice.
I paid $125,000 to President Trump's go pack.
And I went down and had a dinner.
They told me it was a private dinner.
It was so funny, guys.
You would've cracked up.
I'm in a room with like five billionaires, Ted Cruz,
Kimberly Guilfoyle, and somebody else.
I was like the poorest guy in the room.
And we're having dinner with Trump.
So I did that.
Then I paid $100,000 to go to the Kentucky Derby
with President Trump.
So I mean, I was invited to Kimberly Guilfoyle's house
for a birthday party.
I went.
Christmas party, Kid Rock with the DJ.
I was pissed off.
I would've went if I knew Kid Rock was going to be there.
I got invited down to the first Trump support party
after the first indictment.
I was sitting in the sixth row.
I was the only guy in blue jeans and boots.
And everybody was looking at me like, who's that guy?
It's just not my scene, OK?
But I nurtured the relationship for one purpose.
I wanted Dr. Durrani extradited from Pakistan
back to the United States to stay in trial for his crime.
I don't think it's a hard ask.
And they didn't do squat.
So she promised me, but if I paid this $100,000, boom.
By the way, my tax issue, by the way, wasn't a criminal thing.
I took a deduction at the IRS after three years, challenged.
I felt a little bit targeted.
And you know what?
If I win in tax court, great.
If I lose, I'll pay it.
So it was kind of an aside.
But she said, oh, I know Billie Long.
She wanted to prove to me that she had all these contacts.
I'll contact Billie Long.
Well, nothing came of that, and Billie Long
lasted about 30 seconds as IRS commissioner.
But the bottom line is, she wanted that.
And at that time, guys, I'm being honest,
if I had it to spare at that time, I would have done it.
But I didn't have it to spare.
So I used what every man uses.
Yeah, my wife, she'd be mad at me if I did this.
I better not do this.
And I haven't heard from her since.
So wait a minute.
So you didn't pay because you didn't have the money?
No, because your wife would be mad.
I didn't have $100,000 to spare at the time.
But you told Kimberly.
Partly, I would have paid it if I had it.
But you had all this other money.
I mean, you were throwing money out hand over fist, you say.
Well, here's the thing.
Anybody in business knows, you can be up
and you can be down.
From 2018 through, I'd say, 2024,
I was really, really flush.
But I put all my money in.
The irony, I put all my money in this Dr. Durante legal battle.
This Dr. Durante legal battle for 580 Durante victims
cost me $2 million a year, Harvey, $2 million a year.
So at the time that she asked me for that $100,000,
I didn't have it to spare.
But here's what I want all your viewers to know.
There is absolutely no question, it's my understanding,
the laws apply to an ambassador when they're appointed.
Kimberly Guilfoyle solicited me
for $100,000 quid pro quo.
She was gonna do anything and everything.
She knew it was unethical, illegal, and inappropriate
because she wanted to cover it up.
She wanted me to use Signal.
I'd never used Signal before.
She kept complaining to me that I was putting stuff in writing.
And she's flying around Europe right now
with a lobbyist from an energy company.
She's probably grifting millions out of that.
I mean, Kimberly Guilfoyle is a grifter, bottom line.
So the one, I guess, technicality she could stand on
is that she wasn't actually ambassador yet
when she made the request to you, right?
And she had made several other requests to you
that you did pony up.
So she probably felt like there's nothing wrong
with going back to this well.
Every time I've asked Eric before, he's given the money,
so why not ask him one more time?
Right, well, I'm sure that's why she did that.
I'm gonna tell you something right now.
Her problems are deepening.
I'm gonna sue her and her lawyer for defamation.
They said the texts were fake.
I actually, two times at the Wall Street Journal,
scrolled through my Kimberly Guilfoyle thread,
not once, twice with them.
They are not fake.
So they claim they were fake.
That's wrong.
Two, they claimed I was a known blackmailer.
I've never been accused of blackmail.
I haven't blackmailed anybody.
I've never been charged with blackmail.
So that's number two.
Then they claim that, oh, I owed her money,
and that was her scheme that I went along with.
She said, Eric, let's say this $100,000,
we need to pay for it,
was for past consulting fees,
and do it in two $50,000 segments.
That was a complete lie, okay?
I didn't owe her anything.
And now they've said, well, I owed her for travel expenses.
Where's the invoice for the travel expenses?
Just like Watergate and everything else we know,
not only is she busted,
but her coverup's getting her sued for defamation.
And then Medical Protective claimed
that I threatened them with murder.
What the hell?
So they're getting sued for defamation too.
I didn't get the nickname guy's bulldog for nothing.
I'm pretty tough.
I'm a good guy.
I fight for the little man every day, but I'm pretty tough.
So I wanna go back to Eric Trump.
You said you gave money to Donald Trump
to one of his political campaign funds.
That's one thing.
What did Eric Trump get, and did you also say Don Jr.?
Yeah, I gave Eric Trump $100,000
to come to Patriot State Freedom Fest once,
and I paid $200,000 for two times for Donald Trump Jr.
So it's an appearance fee.
It's an appearance fee.
Appearance fees, appearance fees.
Okay.
Was there a quid pro quo there where-
No, no.
I'm not accusing Eric Trump of anything.
I'm not accusing Donald Trump Jr. of anything except this.
Donald Trump Jr. could have helped me
with these medical protective folks, and he didn't.
That bothers me.
J.D. Vance didn't.
Hand-personal.
See, it's not just Kimberly Guilfoyle.
I wrote a handwritten letter to J.D. Vance.
You can't make it up.
My good friend lives next to J.D. Vance's Cincinnati house.
The Secret Service rents it.
J.D. Vance ignored my pleas to extradite.
Vivek Ramaswamy ignored the pleas.
All the Ohio politicians ignored them.
Kesh Patel, Todd Blanch, Pam Bondi,
all of them have ignored my pleas to extradite Dr. Durrani,
and you know why?
Because I'm not a billionaire.
I'm not a mega-governor, U.S. senator, and congressman,
and I don't have a story that the Trump administration
could jump all over with, because that's what he does.
If a kid saves somebody in the ocean,
and it's national news, Trump invites him to the White House.
If I ran into a building and saved five kids,
and it was national news,
Trump would invite me to the White House.
But they're not interested.
They don't care about these 580 Dr. Durrani victims
who had unnecessary spine surgeries,
and I wrote a book about it, Butcher Pakistan.
He is wanted by the inspector general, most wanted still,
and he fled the country.
He should be brought back and stand for his crimes.
It's not a bad ass.
Eric, we are out of time.
Can I just say one thing to you?
Yes.
Don't ask him for money.
You should have a cable news show, dude.
Seriously.
Thank you.
You are.
Thank you, thank you.
You are interesting to listen to.
Actually, Eric, I have one other question.
I know you said that sometimes you're up in business,
sometimes you're down.
Is this, we saw earlier this year that Freedom Fest,
this year's Freedom Fest was canceled
kind of at the last minute, that there weren't ticket sales.
Is normally, we thought you,
I was surprised that it was canceled.
I usually.
Is this because you ran out of funds?
Yeah, I usually fund it myself,
but I was counting on VIP ticket sales,
and there's no other way to say it.
My rich buddies let me down, and I called them out.
I didn't know it was gonna be a national story.
Guys, I gotta leave you with this,
it's funnier than hell.
Bulwark, I did that Bulwark show,
and he asked me, how do you feel
after donating all this money and everything else?
And I said, like a dumb ass.
And that's the way I feel.
Well, we'll leave it at that.
Yeah.
All right.
We so appreciate you coming on.
Eric, thank you, man.
Thank you, Eric.
