What does Hai Phong, Vietnam really look like from above?
In this video, I take you on a quiet 20-minute drone flight over Hai Phong, exploring the area around Hoang Huy City and the new administrative area of the city.
When people think about Hai Phong, they often think about the sea, Cat Ba Island, Do Son, the harbor, historic streets, or the incredible local food. But there is another side of Hai Phong that is much easier to miss when you're standing on the ground.
From above, you begin to see the bigger picture.
New roads, modern neighborhoods, developing areas, open spaces and a city that is gradually changing and expanding. Some parts already feel established, while others are still taking shape.

And that's what makes this view so interesting.

This isn't a postcard view of Vietnam, and I'm not trying to show you a perfect or overly polished version of Hai Phong. I simply wanted to capture the city as it looks today and show you a side that many visitors may never get to see.
Flying over Hoang Huy City and the surrounding area gives us a completely different perspective. From the ground, you see individual streets and buildings. From the sky, you can start to understand how everything connects and how quickly the landscape is changing.
Perhaps in a few years, some of the places you see in this video will look completely different.
So come with me above Hai Phong and take a few minutes to simply look at the city from a different perspective.
