Newborn genome sequencing program at TGH

The Sunshine Genetics Newborn Screening Program has officially launched in Florida, providing free, comprehensive whole genome sequencing for newborns. Orchestrated by Representative Adam Anderson, the program aims to expand screening from roughly 60 conditions to over 900, enabling early diagnosis and intervention to save lives and reduce healthcare costs.
