Do You Have a Fool Proof Shot Process?

The Ancient Longbow Legacy

As a bowhunter, your focus needs to stay on the process, not the prize. A consistent shot routine gives your mind something productive to work through and helps keep your technique together when the pressure is at its highest.
For me, that means checking the same fundamentals every time: stance, grip, front shoulder, anchor, peep, then pulling through and finishing the shot. If something starts to break down, I can usually trace it back to one of those basics.
Write your routine down, practice it at camp, and run through it on every arrow until it becomes automatic. Good shots put arrows in the middle.
