🌿 New to the Herb Pharm Botanical Garden? Start with Part 1 here: • The Herb Pharm Botanical Garden | A Garden...

What if your medicinal herb garden could be beautiful, wildlife-friendly, and deeply connected to the history of plants and people? 🌿 What if your garden could include plants that doubled as medicinal allies which could support your health? 🌿

Join me at the Herb Pharm Botanical Garden in Williams, Oregon, where medicinal herbs meet garden design, ethnobotany, native plants, pollinator habitat, and centuries-old herbal traditions.

In this tour, we explore milkweed and monarch habitat, Angelica, marshmallow, mullein, lady's mantle, vitex, cramp bark, Chinese medicinal plants, native Southern Oregon plants, and much more. We also discover how this 1.5-acre botanical garden is managed, including thoughtful use of mulch, self-seeding plants, pruning, and low-input gardening techniques from head gardener Sayaka Lean and Pharm Manager Mark Disharoon.

The Herb Pharm Botanical Garden isn't simply a collection of medicinal plants—it's a living classroom and habitat designed for people, pollinators, and the plants themselves.

🌿 Please note: This video is for educational and gardening purposes only and is not medical advice. Some medicinal plants can be toxic or unsafe for certain people, and responsible harvesting and herbal preparation require additional education. Always consult qualified sources before using medicinal plants.

Come wander with me and discover how medicinal herbs can become beautiful garden plants, pollinator resources, and fascinating pieces of human history.
