Israeli forces raid Birzeit University and demolish memorial honouring Palestinian students

Israeli forces raided Birzeit University, demolishing a monument honoring 38 Palestinian students and replacing it with a fig tree and instructions to water it. This act is viewed as a deliberate attempt to erase Palestinian national identity and collective memory, shifting the students' focus from political struggle and national unity to mundane, daily tasks.
