Three Sea Turtles Rescued and Released - Zelda, Doug and War

Triple sea turtle release! Two green sea turtles, and a Kemp's ridley were released after undergoing rehabilitation at Clearwater Marine Aquarium. Join us in saying farewell to Doug, War, and Zelda as they head back to the wild where they belong! #CMAinspires

Fishing gear caused injuries on two of these sea turtles, requiring a hook removal surgery and flipper amputation. The sea turtles recovered and were cleared for release by CMA's veterinarian and Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission.
