The WORST Case of BARNACLES on SEA TURTLES (Marine Rescue) 🐢 Quom

Is it a rock or a living being? This sea turtle invaded by barnacles is perhaps the worst case of invasion I have ever seen. The rescuers were the National Aquarium Abu Dhabi, the young green turtle arrived buried under an armor of acorn barnacles (Chelonibia testudinaria) that prevented it from even swimming, it was very weak. The weight it was carrying was so extreme that we managed to document a loss of 0.114 kg after cleaning, meaning it was carrying an extra 20% of its body weight.
