She Still Hadn’t Given Birth, So Mama Took Her to the Vet.
Her belly had been enlarged for quite some time, but she still hadn't given birth. Mama became concerned and decided it was time to take her to the vet.

What the examination revealed changed the priority completely — it was no longer about waiting for her to give birth, but about protecting her health.

After an ultrasound, the vet discovered that the pregnancy was no longer viable and that her uterus was inflamed. At that point, waiting was no longer an option — the priority was protecting the mother dog's health.

The vet recommended surgery to remove the affected uterus and ovaries. Mama agreed, and thankfully, the surgery went well.

Afterward, Mama brought her home, explained everything to her owner, and made sure they understood how to care for her during recovery.
