Guqin & Guzheng Duet 《May We All Be Blessed with Longevity》

“May we all be blessed with longevity, and share the beauty of the moon even across a thousand miles.”

This adapted guqin piece was originally written many years ago as an introductory piece for my students. To celebrate the 2026 Mid-Autumn Festival, I decided to record it specially for this occasion, while also incorporating a guzheng accompaniment, performed by myself.

The graceful and lively sounds of the Guzheng blend with the deep and serene tones of the Guqin, creating a duet between two traditional Chinese instruments that expresses the broad-minded spirit and heartfelt sentiments found in the poetry of Su Shi.

May this melodious Guqin and Guzheng music accompany you through a warm, peaceful, and beautiful Mid-Autumn night. 🥮✨
