Bridgeport community gathers to mourn DOT worker tragically killed by impaired driver on I-95

Hundreds of D.O.T. workers and mourners gathered in Bridgeport to honor Elvin Hernandez, a 60-year-old road worker killed on September 25th. Hernandez was struck by an allegedly impaired driver while removing debris from I-95 south of Fairfield. The community is now calling for stricter enforcement of \"slow down, move over\" laws to prevent future tragedies.
