Gold & Silver Are Flashing the Same Signal (Is the Bottom In?)

On Monday, gold and silver did something they rarely do on the same day. Both were stretched to the bottom of their Bollinger Bands right after silver lost almost 9% in a month. I tested that exact setup back to the year 2000, and in this video I show you where it worked, where it blew up, and why the odds are now tilted. Spot gold dipped to $4,110, just under its key $4,117 line, and has closed back above it every day since.
Spot silver broke under $60 for the first time since early August, then bounced straight back to its $61.04 golden ratio. The dollar is at its high of the year, factories just reported their biggest jump in input costs since May, and the Fed is still talking about hikes. At the same time, the Treasury's bond buybacks are failing, and the Treasury just brought in Judy Shelton, a woman who has argued for years that US bonds should be payable in gold. I break down the charts, the pressure, who is still buying, and the exact levels that will tell us whether the bottom is in.
