Back at the Van after I Explored the Isle of Kerrera Alone [ep 9]

After taking a £3 ferry from Oban to the Isle of Kerrera, I decided to spend the entire day walking around the island. The route around Kerrera is roughly 12 miles, taking you past rugged coastline, quiet farmland, and one of the island’s most incredible sights — Gylen Castle, an abandoned castle perched dramatically on the cliffs above the sea. Exploring places like this is one of the best parts of solo van life in Scotland. Sometimes the best adventures are the simple ones: a long walk, incredible scenery, and discovering places you didn’t know existed.
