I Heard Loud Meowing… So I Came to Check on the Newborn Kittens
I suddenly heard loud meowing coming from the room where mama cat Nia was staying with her newborn kittens. The cry was so loud that I immediately went to check if everything was okay.
But the moment I entered the room… everything was quiet. 😹
Nia was calmly lying with her babies, and none of the newborn kittens seemed to be in trouble. So I started gently picking them up one by one, trying to figure out which tiny kitten had been crying — and, more importantly, why.
Was someone hungry? Had one of the kittens crawled too far away from mom? Or was a tiny baby simply calling for her attention?
One of these little newborns is Dan, and like his brothers and sisters, he is still completely dependent on his mama. At this age, even the smallest problem can make a kitten cry loudly, so I always pay attention when I hear an unusual sound from their nest.
