Life with newborn kittens revolves around two very important things: drinking milk and being licked by their mother. 😹
In this video, mother cat Nia is spending a quiet day with her four newborn kittens — Dan, James, Willy, and Lily. The tiny kittens are still completely dependent on their mother, and observing their daily routine is adorable.
A moment ago, the newborn kittens snuggled up to Nia, eager to nurse. A little later, it's bath time — and Nia carefully begins licking and cleaning each of her offspring. Of course, the kittens don't always make their mother's job easy! Some crawl away, some wriggle, and eventually they all find their way back to their mother and milk again. ❤️
At this age, mother cats do almost everything for their newborn kittens. She keeps them warm, feeds them, cleans them, and stays close while they sleep and grow. For Dan, James, Willy, and Lily, their entire little world is still their mother.
