We found a surprise Highland cow calf out in the pasture! Cora just gave birth to the most unexpected little silver baby.

It is always an exciting day at our homestead farm when we head out to check on the herd. We were scanning the wooded areas near the pond, and we honestly thought we had missed the newest arrival. Finding this unique silver calf was a total shock, and seeing how well Cora is doing with her new baby is truly heartwarming.

We spent the afternoon watching the pair settle in. Managing our Scottish Highlands requires keeping a close eye on their progress in the field, and it is rewarding to see everyone thriving in their natural environment. We are so glad we took the time to explore the property and locate them.
