In some ways, the FOX X-Men movies were ahead of their time. A team up superhero movie in a time where superhero movies weren’t all that common laid the groundwork for this franchise, but also opened the doors for other Superhero franchises as well. And while the Fox X-Men movies had their fair share of successes like X2 and Days of Future Past, there’s no denying that at some point, the MCU came along and surpassed what Fox had achieved. Now at what point they surpassed the FOX movies can be debated, but today we’re talking about the end of the Fox X-Men movies, and that’s of course Dark Phoenix.
