I Remember is a piece for drumset based on traditional West African dance rhythms. I added two sections towards the end of the piece based on African rhythms taught to me by Adam Mason. African rhythms have spread to several different areas around the world. Brazilian Samba is one of my favorite African influenced genres, so I've extended the piece with traditional rhythms from this region.
