Baniyas to Baghdad: Syria's new fuel corridor to Iraq

Iraq has established a new energy corridor with Syria to import gasoline via road. This route, utilizing Syria's Baniyas port, allows Iraq to bypass shipping disruptions in the Strait of Hormuz. Baghdad intends to maintain and develop these overland routes to ensure energy security and reduce reliance on Gulf maritime shipping.
