Uganda Mayor Exposes China Project: Concrete Dug Out By Hand, “Would You Do This In China?”

On September 19, Ronald Balimwezo, the mayor of Uganda’s capital Kampala, inspected drainage facilities at a road construction site on Salama Road and questioned whether some drainage work met construction standards. He ordered the contractor to remove and rebuild the sections.
