Dufour 39: A Private Tour of the New 12-Meter Family Cruiser

For this new BateauScopie report filmed at the 2026 Cannes Yachting Festival, ActuNautique offers you a complete tour of the brand-new Dufour 39. This sailboat is particularly strategic for the La Rochelle-based shipyard, as it slots in between the Dufour 37 and 41 and completes the renewal of a range now comprised of the 37, 39, 41, 44, 48, and 54.

At Port Canto, we discover this first model with Matthieu Johanet, Head of Business Development at Teor Yachts, a Dufour dealer in Hyères and an Apaca Group company. The boat presented in Cannes is still a prototype: it was built in just six weeks to be exhibited at the show, before several months of sea trials and fine-tuning prior to the second hull.

Measuring 12 meters long and 4.10 meters wide, the Dufour 39 prioritizes modularity. This BateauScopie tour showcases its Performance configuration, featuring a mainsail track in the cockpit and optimized rigging, while retaining the large swim platform and outdoor galley. Two drafts are available: 1.65 or 1.95 meters.

The tour also reveals a surprisingly spacious interior for a 39-footer. Available with two or three cabins, the sailboat can accommodate a dedicated navigation/office area, a separate shower, a wet locker, and even a large technical space that can be converted into a workshop. This configuration is particularly appealing for long-distance cruising.

Expect to pay around 375,000 euros including VAT for a well-equipped Dufour 39 ready to sail in the Mediterranean.
