Crossing the English Channel Aboard a Viking Ship Saga Farmann

After last-minute repairs, supply runs, and a surprise change of plans from the Honfleur harbor master, we set off aboard Saga Farmann, a replica of a viking ship, to cross the English Channel.
From tight tides and bad weather to historic stops in Ouistreham and Bayeux, this leg of the journey tested our patience and seamanship. But after days of waiting, we finally found our weather window — and set sail into the darkness for Brighton.
Join us as we motor through calm seas, hoist sail in open waters and arrive in England under cover of night — tired but triumphant.
Saga Farmann has made it across the Channel.
